There have been quiet a few or should I say a lot of rumours about HTC ‘s next flagship the HTC M8. Especially in the display department we got to hear rumours about the resolution every other day.
Well thanks to leak a of the UA Prof File we can now confirm that the HTC M8 will sport a 5” display. Yes you heard it right, it will have a FHD (1920x1080px) display !

This might be a shock for a few of us who were expecting a 2560 X 1440p QHD display but we believe it is next to impossible to fit a display with such high resolution into a 5” display.
Moreover we believe the display would cause a noticeable difference with the pixel density being already so high. The increase in pixels will also increase battery consumption which will be a downfall if a larger battery is not used.
What do you think about the use of the a 1080p display in the HTC M8 ? Do you think HTC should have used a QHD display to keep up with the competition ?
