With the beginning of 2014 we now have a new season of upcoming smartphones. The first stage of speculations and rumours is on the verge of completion and the second stage has now begun where in we get news about the release dates of the flagships from various OEM’s.
First up is Samsung with its next flagship the Samsung Galaxy S5 which is rumoured to be released on April 2014. The Galaxy S5 wouldn’t be the only device to be released as it would be accompanied by the next generation of the Galaxy Gear called the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2.
Samsung’s previous flagship the Galaxy S4 was released on April 26, 2013 and thus Samsung’s choice of release date for the next flagship seems ideal.

The Galaxy S5 will be Samsung’s major release and their future of maintaining a strong foothold in the Android Ecosystem depends largely on it.
