With Samsung releasing the Android 4.4 update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and soon to the Samsung Galaxy S4 it was time for some of the older devices from the Galaxy lineup to know whether or not they will get the sweet taste of Kit Kat.
Well thanks to the folks at Android Geek, we kind of have a concrete news that the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will receive the Android 4.4 update by the end of March.
This is some great news for Samsung fans and also on part of Samsung. With OEM’s like HTC ditching the update for HTC One X and the HTC One X+, Samsung fans now have a point to show their supremacy.
But at the same time Samsung has gained a bad reputation of calling back the updates due to bugs in the updates which has proved to harm the hardware at certain occasions. Hopefully this time it is the other way around. With the Samsung Galaxy S5 to be released in April we believe the update will miss out on a few features to be introduced with the latter.
So what does you think about Samsung plans of releasing updates to the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2?
